SuperGrafx On Virtual Console

Nintendo of Japan is adding the SuperGrafx to the Virtual Console. A little background;the SuperGrafx was a variation of the standard PC-Engine (TurboGrafix-16 in the US) It had a duplicate set of
video chips (and an extra chip to coordinate the two), four times as
much RAM, twice as much video RAM, and a 2nd layer/plane of scrolling.
There was a total of 5 games released for it. Additionally Darius Plus and Darius Alpha were released for the PC-Engine, and when played on the SuperGrafix had improved graphics. The system was best known for its far superior port of Ghouls N' Ghosts compared to the Genesis port. Some may remember the SuperGrafix best from the pages of EGM and GameFan in the early 90's, showing awesome pics of a port of Strider, that unfortunately never was released.
